Fictionable Story Starters

Take one of these sentences and use it to start writing a story:

Orgle T. Heatherpig stopped pacing back and forth across the rickety bridge spanning a small pool of water filled with a plethora of paintings depicting bovines and living rooms, and nervously checked the time on his watch.

The monstrous roar ripped through the spring silence, prompting amateur bird watcher Jiker Opfed to drop his binoculars in surprise and scream, "Run for your lives!"

With a trembling hand, I slowly reached for the handle shaped like a dragon's head. But before I could turn it, a loud voice broke through the silence of the dilapidated hall, commanding, "Freeze! This is the Banana Border Patrol! You're under arrest!"

The door to the pink farmhouse was suddenly flung open violently. A young boy raced out and in one swift leap soared over the fence and landed the back of a flying pig kept in a sty just outside the building. Quickly undoing the strap that held its wings in place, the boy urged the pig into the air, pointing at the winged swine's nose and shouting "Quagmire 3 forever!"

It has been three years since my last encounter with a runaway Hurko - Itopaki Bull. In that year, I found the Lost Beard of Perg, dueled a scorshan mercenary, and ate fishikis for dinner three weeks in a row.
